Ok, so the long awaited season 5 of Peaky Blinders came and went far too quick for my liking. I've been a fan of the show from the start but I'm completely torn this season on whether I actually liked it or not after watching lasts nights finale.
The plot has obviously been left on a cliff hanger for next season but personally I would have liked them to conclude this season with perhaps more episodes in order to give them time for more character development for for the plot to be concluded. If they wanted to leave off on a cliff hanger as they have I personally would have liked them to finish this story line and end it with something new ready to go in to season 6.
Fans are speculating we may see a return from Major Campbell from all the way back in season 1 and 2 next season, although personally I think it's wishful thinking more than anything and at this point it's just hear say. I do think though and this is a pretty solid thought, we're likely to see more of Tom Hardy now we know his character Alfie isn't dead.
All in a all it wasn't a bad season speaking from a fans point of view and I'll be continuing to watch the show in the future as I think there's still a lot more excitement to be seen even if the ending didn't go my way.
What did you think? A disappointment or a win?
This week I came across another absolute gem of a game. The Wolf Online Simulator from Swift Apps Ltd is completely mindless and simple yet engaging and hard to put down at the same time. From what I can tell, the game has been out quite a number of years but somehow I've only just discovered it.
The game offers two modes of play, PVP or Co-Op in which you explore an amazing environment, develop your character and upgrade your skills to become Alpha.
So far I've only put around 3 or 4 hours in to the game mostly in Co-Op mode, it's taken me this amount of time to reach level 10.
The premise is basically hunting all sorts of different animals from rabbits, raccoons, bears, bob cats, snakes, rats plus many more along with legendary versions of each animal to gain points, the real time player with the most points within that game becomes Alpha which gives you the option of "calling" other players to warp to your side. From what I've seen so far, other prey become available as you level up.
With each level unlocked you gain a set amount of gems to upgrade your wolf's strengths or powers and with every 5 levels or so you unlock a different wolf skin to choose.
In Co-Op mode, you're also placed with players of around the same level as you to give you all the same advantage.
The graphics are pretty cool and engaging although the controls can sometimes be a little glitchy but overall it's given me a few hours of fun so far.
As for the longevity of the game, the levelling up process can be pretty tedious and with the game being pretty repetitive I'm not sure how long I'll play it before I get bored of it.
I love the concept though so I'll be sticking it out for a bit longer.
If you play feel free to add me, my tag on there is simply "Bear" and if you feel like reading more, you can do so here.
